NC Zoo

We took off to the NC Zoo yesterday and had a good time despite it being hot and crowded.. 1st day of Spring.. everyone had the same idea I think. :)

Got to see most of the animals.. I think we only missed the Pavilion with the plants and the chimpanzees.. oh well. I got my fill of the NC Zoo for a few more years.. the next time I go it will either be in the fall or winter though.. not when it's hot. I think I say that everytime. hehe

When we got there I rented a stroller for JT cause I knew he wouldn't be able to walk the whole thing.. he gets in and says seat belt.. once his seat belt was on he says "we're ready". He's so funny and so smart. Elijah enjoyed his ride of leisure in his stroller. The path was up and down the whole way, he wouldn't have been able to walk around.

While we were walking we heard the most heinous screaming! I was like oh my gosh someone's getting attacked.. it was horrible, heard the screaming a couple of times. The next stop was the gorilla's. I got close to the windows so I could get some pics.. the next thing I know, this thing comes flying by the window and jumps up smacking it as hard as he could.. scared me 1/2 to death! I was like, ohhh.. that's where the screaming came from. lol.

Me and JT had been up since 1:45 that am.. he went all day except for a couple of 20 mins naps.. did so good though.. he had a good time. He had fallen a sleep at 9:00 Friday night and woke up wide awake at 1:45. He does that sometimes, but he'll usually either go back to sleep or takes a nap later.. By the time we got home he was out for the count.. changed his pull up and he pulled the covers over his head and crashed.. that's after falling a sleep in the recliner.. I thought he was going to get up, at least to eat supper, but nope. He was exhausted. Elijah and John crashed after they ate supper.

I was up as long as JT was.. was going to try and watch New Moon, but I got to the Volturi scene and couldn't stand it anymore. I managed my way to bed, after feeling like I was going to pass out.. it felt so weird and I had to keep telling myself it was just pure exhaustion. I had taken Stay Awake all day to keep from crashing.. it's like a generic form of vivarin from Walmart. They did they're job, I was impressed. lol
